hi

just looking to see how people have there domain name landing pages. I have tried a few variations but not happy. I dont want to park them as that kills domains IMHO.

So
1: Do memebrs have a telephone number on there landing pages per domain name, and if so is this effective.
2: Do you just park all you domains on one website showing all the other domain names you have for sale with a contact form.

If you have any example parked domain pages much appreciated.

thanks

Paul

If you're only interested in end user sales, then I think Edwin's model is the best.

pointing them all to 1 main website showing everything you mean.

Are you referring to landers that are purely intending to sell the name to type-in visitors, or landers that are designed to rank the domain in SERPs and pull in the visitors that way?

IMO, pointing loads of names to one site will kill them just as effectively as parking in terms of indexing.

Depending on the quality of the names you're trying to sell - if you make enough from parking Sedo will forward the "this domain may be for sale" text on the parked page to your own site then you get the parking revenue and save on sales commissions.

Edwin has a pretty good setup with his names:
http://frenchschool.co.uk/ is an example name of his for sale (and it is indexed in G)
http://www.memorabledomains.co.uk/ is the company homepage

I (think) the best is to try and get them ranked individually to draw attention to end users more.

I will wait to see what others have, and any examples to see what people are finding best works.
