They seemed to have improved their operation a bit. Politics aside the whole transfer process went very smoothly and was impressed with it all. No more than 6 working hours between each step. Makes it very easy for the seller.

Money paid without asking, Can't really ask no more than that.

I've only used sedo once for a sale (sold two domains to the same person via auction) and had no problems at all, all went smoothly.

I have just joined and posted my 1st domain on Sedo yesterday.
Can't find it in the auctions, but thats probably because I'm not looking properly

It depends quite a bit on the buyer as well. I've had people paying within hours and transactions not even paid after over 1 month, leading to cancelled transaction.

I'm having a nightmare where the buyer is not accepting the nominet transfer

Is that the one where it is a big sale mate?

Yes mate fingers crossed, I'm hoping Sedo will give them a call to talk them through the procedure

They always said sedo should have a holding account to put these into, the buyer then realises five months later they don't own the domain and then simple transfer it from sedo when ready.

I sold one via Sedo recently. No problems except that the buyer was a "9 to 5" biz hours agent, and initiated the job on a Friday ...
