Unfortunately mate whoever wrote that is off their heads on cyber-smack....

"been relegated to the bottom of its search results." For what terms? Where is the bottom of Google?

"Google has placed the websites on a blacklist of sites found guilty of breaching its rules after the Guardian exposed one of the sites selling software to help others breach copyright regulations." Sure this didn't happen in April when Penguin kicked in.

"Google's banning of the Shapps family is likely to embarrass David Cameron, and other senior Tories, who have built up very close ties with the powerful internet company. Official records show Tory ministers held at least 23 meetings with Google bosses between the 2010 general election and May 2012." This reporter thinks that Google owns the web, jeez man get off your knees it is embarrassing. He's making out like breaking Google's guidelines is criminal. It's like me going to the 10 items or less at Tesco's with 11 items. Plus does anyone really think that they give a dam about this in Government?

By the way Google are the ones who lobbied the Conservatives to get the law changed last month so that anyone who doesn't specifically claim copyright of content on the web does not own it. This was to enable Google to use any photo's etc it could cache and make cash from it. They can't have it both ways.... arh it's Google so they will at least try.
