View Full Version : Email Contact Forms
I've got a website with a list of resources.
For each resource I want to add a "contact" button. When that button is clicked, I want a small pop up form to appear that the site visitor can fill to send an email to the listed resource. The email should indicate that it originated from my website.
Are there any premade scripts that do this? I'm using Wordpress - perhaps there is a plugin for this?
Thanks in advance for any advice or direction you can give.

Jeff, do you mean like the way I have a submit enquiry button on one of my domains http://www.that.co.uk/our-sites-and-domains/hgvcouk.html

Assuming that the enquiry is going to the website owners, yes, that is exactly what I'm looking for!
Looks like you are using a Joomla widget?
Jeff, have a look through Code Canyon (http://codecanyon.net/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&term=contact&categories=wordpress%2Fforms&sidebar_redirect=true) - some great stuff there. :)
Thanks - excellent website! I wasn't aware of it.
I can't really find what I'm looking for at that site. However, there are a lot of helpful goodies there.

Yes mate it is a joomla add on, yes it would send directly to the person who added it. Didn't know just how bad wordpress was for charging for extras.
Wordpress has a wealth of free plugins and themes, probably one of the best out there Graeme, CodeCanyon is just a place people sell things, nothing official.
Contact Form 7 does this out the box. Just change the email footer sig for each new form to indicate where the email came from.
Can't help with the popup idea, but you can just point each contact link to a specific contact form with the appropriate footer.
Thanks so much - that looks promising! I'll give that a try.
